Absolute Aromas Peppermint (English) Essential Oil 0.33 Fl. Oz.
Promotes scalp health and may ease occasional stomach discomfort*. Peppermint oil is one of the most widely used in aromatherapy due to it's invigorating and fresh aroma. Peppermint oil, according to one study, could be used as a therapeutic alternative for hair loss in humans* (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4289931/). Peppermint oil has also been shown in clinical trials to ease symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4729798/). While we are not doctors and cannot recommend taking this oil internally, we do recommend consulting your physician or applying topically to your lower abdomen with a carrier oil. Absolute Aromas English Peppermint Essential Oil has many of the same characteristics as regular peppermint oil with a bit of a smoother, fuller and more rounded aroma. It's unique in that it contains a high concentration of methyl esters, which is responsible for the sweetness and fullness of the oil. English peppermint is wonderful for easing nausea or uneasiness after a mean, hence the reason it is the main oil used in after-dinner mints. The oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the herb.
